This 39-year-old woman came to me dissatisfied with her prior implant-based reconstruction. She required several revisions but was unhappy with her overall shape.
I performed a total capsulectomy, removal, and replacement of silicone gel implants. She received high profile extra projecting 595cc and acellular dermal matrix. The patient declines nipple reconstruction.
This 73-year-old woman presented to me after bilateral mastectomies with implant-based reconstruction 30 years ago. She complained of bilateral breast tightness, right worse than left and recent MRI revealed likely bilateral rupture.
I performed bilateral capsulectomies, removal of textured implants and implant material, placement of acellular-dermal matrix, and smooth round high profile 650cc implants. The patient declines nipple reconstruction.
